Training and Capacity Building

• Manchester BRC Training and Capacity Building Matrix (2026). The NIHR BRC: Manchester Training and Capacity Building Matrix is a new resource bringing together a wide range of training, development and learning opportunities available to BRC staff and students. Designed to support professional growth at all career stages, the matrix highlights courses, and programmes across areas such as experimental medicine, clinical research, leadership, digital skills, and public involvement. It’s intended as a flexible tool to help individuals identify opportunities that match their role, interests, and career goals. While not exhaustive, the matrix provides a helpful starting point for exploring the breadth of training available across the BRC and its partners.
