Manchester BRC and CRF part of national test bed for newly launched national standards to improve public involvement in research

The Public Programmes team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust - who lead the involvement and engagement work for the NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre and Clinical Research Facility - has been selected as one of ten organisations in the UK to become a test-bed for this work.

Evidence suggests patients with early inflammatory arthritis now have better outcomes compared with previous decades

New research from The University of Manchester in collaboration with researchers at the University of East Anglia shows improved long-term outcomes for patients diagnosed with early inflammatory arthritis, when comparing to the previous 10 year period.

Highest data security certification awarded to the Health eResearch Centre, The University of Manchester

The Health eResearch Centre (HeRC) has been awarded certification of ISO 27001, information security’s best accolade, from the Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LGRA). This is the highest data security certification and demonstrates HeRC is following information security best practice.
