Encouraging Collaboration – BRC Public Engagement Grant

BRC researchers, staff and students are invited to apply for funding to develop and deliver projects that engage the public in BRC research.

Our aim is to encourage collaborative BRC public engagement projects or activities and support imaginative approaches to engaging diverse audiences.

We also want to increase awareness amongst people and patients about opportunities to participate in BRC research (especially in groups or geographical areas with currently low participation rates).

Preparing an application

Project proposals should be in line with the Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) strategy.

If you have an idea please get in touch with your PPIE theme lead and/or your PPIE Project Manager to discuss further. (See the links below for contacts).

Awards

We expect applications in the region of £1,000 – £3,000 per project.

Applications must be sent to publicprogrammes@mft.nhs.uk by Monday 10th September 2018
