Project Manager – Mental Health

Michelle is Project Manager for the Mental Health Theme at the NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre, which includes Neuroscience and Digital & Data Science research programmes.

Michelle has public sector experience spanning over 20 years and has MSc degrees in Psychology and in Public Health. She has held roles within various NHS Trusts, including developing and managing projects in quality improvement, clinical governance, and patient and public engagement and involvement (PPIE). She was also previously a Technical Analyst for the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE), working on developing quality standards for health, public health and social care. Michelle volunteers for mental health and bereavement support charities.
