Project Manager – Cancer Precision Medicine

Megan has worked within health-related research since 2012, starting as a Project Officer within Macclesfield Hospital (part of East Cheshire NHS Trust) in the Research and Development department focusing on patient involvement and inclusion in research across the Trust. Megan then moved to The University of Manchester in 2012, first as a Project Co-ordinator based at Wythenshawe Hospital (part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust) working within vascular research and patient risk prediction models, before joining the Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute as a Senior Scientific Officer. Megan joined the CRUK Cancer Biomarker Centre as a Project Manager in 2023, and co-project manages the Manchester BRC Cancer Precision Medicine theme as part of her role.

She has a BSc (Hons) in Genetics and Psychology from The University of Liverpool and an MSc in Research Methods from The University of Sheffield. She is also a certified Prince2 Practitioner. Megan is based at the Paterson Building in Withington.
