Adam Shepphard
Adam has more than a decade of communications, marketing, and engagement experience within the NHS, and has worked across acute and specialist trusts, clinical and specialised commissioning, the Academic Health Science Network, and research and innovation.
Adam leads communications for Manchester BRC, along with Research and Innovation at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, and the NIHR Manchester Clinical Research Facility. He is responsible for setting the strategic direction and overseeing the delivery of all aspects of Manchester BRC communications.
The work of his team for Manchester BRC has been featured by the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Sky News, The Guardian, The Times, The Daily Mail, The Daily Telegraph, and many more regional, national and international media outlets.
He chairs the Greater Manchester Research and Innovation Communications Strategy Group and is a founder member of the NHS R&D Forum Research Communications Group.
