BRC Education and Training Manager

Lisa has worked in the NHS since 2007.  She is a Registered Children’s Nurse by background with her career initially starting at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.  Lisa has 7 years of experience as a Corporate Nurse, working in various education and workforce roles across Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.  Lisa has also worked with NHS England on the Chief Nursing Officer Safer Staffing programme as a Fellow to support the implementation and embedding of workforce planning, delivery, and assurance responsibilities within NHS trusts.

As the BRC Education and Training Manager, Lisa is responsible for the implementation and delivery of the BRC Capacity Building/Education and Training Strategy for staff, students, and the wider partner organisations.

Lisa is passionate about education and professional development to support a competent and skilled workforce.  Lisa is an accredited Coach and believes coaching can promote an empowered, inclusive, and innovative culture within the workplace.  Lisa also has a strong interest in supporting staff wellbeing as a Health and Wellbeing Champion, Mental Health First Aider, and a qualified yoga teacher.
