Biostatistics

Biomarker development and usage requires robust statistical methodology.

The Centre for Biostatistics has an international reputation for biostatistical research and interdisciplinary collaboration, with expertise in predictive modelling, and will work closely with the Centre for Health Informatics and the Data Science Institute (Computational Biology) to develop and apply novel statistical methods.

The Informatics and Data Sciences theme will provide a hub for the biomarker and research themes to access relevant statistical methodology and is at the forefront of developing new methods to address larger and increasingly more complex data sets.
